Digital Arts
We have always made it a point to expose our scholars to technology. We believe that is important to show Whitman scholars how much more powerful it is to create content and not simply consume it. Our focus on the Digital Arts has been embedded across content areas and during Club Hour. We even have a new state-of-the-art TV Studio with professional equipment. Below is some of the content our scholars have created.

Take Two Film Academy
Take Two Film Academy was founded in 2009 with a simple mission: to make filmmaking and media literacy education accessible to a generation of young people. Since then, they have served thousands of students at dozens of schools in New York City, Long Island, New Jersey, and Boston. Their student-produced films have been featured at the Tribeca Film Festival each year since 2013, and have earned rave reviews at a variety of local film festivals.
Our scholars were able to work with several of the teachers in the 2021/2022 school year. Here is one of the Amazing films that our scholars were able to create in our new state-of-the-art TV studio.
